I've been uplifted and spiritually fed on Sunday so my spirit, thoughts and attitude are still up. I'm usually feeling the most rested and caught up on sleep on Monday morning.
I look forward to a day of going back to routines, making and tackling lists, and a house of quiet.
Monday is always a fresh start to me. A re-do day. A clean slate. It's the day I feel hopeful to restart working on my bad habits and feel the most positive about accomplishing my goals. 
But oh...the laundry, the house work, the bill paying and getting everyone else's lives back on track.

Good thing it's Monday and I still have energy for my crappy job! Ha! And good thing everyone loves toliet paper!

I've considered asking to have Mondays off from work for the exact reasons you have listed. I need a day to recuperate from the weekend and get my house in order before starting the week and letting everything slide. But if I start already behind it's hard to catch up. Here's to Mondays!
I was all excited to start my do to lists this morning. Usually I'm good on Monday mornings, but by that night sometimes I'm ready for the weekend again! hehehe
Have I ever told anyone that someday I'd like to run for President...and my entire platform for my campaign would be that every weekend includes monday. That means there is no school or work on monday. We need monday to recup from the weekend!

I have a job where my days off change every week...and they are rarely if ever on Saturday or Sunday. So I have no "weekend" and no "Monday"...it's a hard thing to get used to. And when anyone ever says "have a nice weekend" I think yeah really? What's that????

Monday is my favorite day as well..by Friday, I am wishing for Monday..bass ackwards I know!
