Stitches in Time

Chloe has made her first quilt. Her YW's leader helped her design and put together the top and this week at YW's her class helped her "tie" it. She chose BYU colors....of course. I'm glad she has a YW's leader and RS President who are willing to take the time to help her learn this skill...I certainly haven't.
Speaking of a stitch in time...look who's facing forward in his carseat now...it's a whole new world for him.
And yet another stitch...someone turned 40 this week...turning 40 is a reluctant stitch.
And can some smarty pants please tell me what these clouds are called? The other day these clouds came over us looking like ocean waves, filling the entire sky...beautiful.

Talk about a stitch in time...tomorrow is Boyd's 40th birthday too. I have spent more than half of my life with this guy. It has gone by so fast. I'm having a hard time wrapping my brain around how fast time is speeding by....too many stitches, too fast. I hope some memorable stitches will be made this weekend.

Chloe's quilt is beautiful. She looks so happy.

Wish I could have been there to celebrate Val's b'day.

Noah is too cute!!

I am such a loser...never sent my note for Boyd. Sorry.

Wow, for some reason that 1st picture of Chloe made me think of Krista! Is it just me?

Tomorrow is my husband's 40th birthday too! How cool is that?!

I thought about tagging the yard with signs that say "Lordy, Lordy, Look who's 40!" But I refrain myself as I know my husband is the King of pranks/paybacks.

I absolutely love the colors and design of Chloe's quilt!! Knowing her she did and awesome job on it, and now has a new skill to bless her life and the lives of others. Noah is a doll baby -I could just goosh him up!! Where has the time gone Cheryl Dawn? - you have spent more time with Boyd than with me, sigh! I love clouds! Love you!!

I love Chloe's quilt. I can't handle how fast time goes by. It all makes me a little sad when I think about it--so I try not to. :)

stopping by from SITS... That is a FANTASTIC looking quilt.

I don't know what kind of clouds those are, sorry I couldn't help with that.

I loved these clouds; I was mesmerized by them the other day. And when I drove by them, I remember thinking that I wish I had my camera.

Chloe did a fantastic job on her quilt! Your whole family is so talented.

It's crazy how time fly's by!

I don't do the whole quilt thing either...but I love them. Not much of the homemaker type, more of a sports lady.

My niece goes to BYU and loves it. It makes it easy for her because all of our family is close by (Lehi), so she doesn't feel too homesick.

Have a great weekend!

Is your daughter going there too?

How fun for your daughter to put that quilt together. My mom was a master quilter --won many awards for her quilts in fairs etc. (I am such a looser compared to her skills/talents) Hey, bug a boo--is it YOUR 40th birthday?? As far as those clouds are concerned ---very wierd looking, kinda ominous.

I believe those are stratus clouds.

Lovely quilt, even prettier girl - just like her mom!
