I think the list of things I don't like would be so much easier. I know, that's the point.
I think I'm going to have to think about this one today and get back.

And I think St. George is beautiful, and it took thousands of years weathering to get that way. That means there's hope for us all.
I'll go and be inspired by her surroundings.

I'd have an easier time with the non-appearance-related list, which wouldn't have been true when I was younger. These days, the aging is moving in on me so quickly that it's hard to keep reframing my self image!
Either way, both lists would be a challenge. But I bet I could write ten things about someone else just fine. Why is it that we are so much kinder to our friends in that regard than we are to ourselves?

I agree with Sue! I just did my lists...I started them hours ago. I just now finished. This challenge is empowering. It truly is an eye opener. How am I to expect my daughter to love herself unconditionally if she hears me say dislikes about myself?
