Road trippin'
For about as many years as I've been married, I've been taking road trips every summer.
Now I'm only a day's drive from family and I don't get to go.
I miss those whiney road trip days.

people are always amazed that I can math fast in my head. it was how my dad shut us up. seriously - someone would ask for water or where we were and he'd start "what is 5 squared times 2 divided by..." and we had to shout out the answer. I am grateful for the dvd player - it doesn't make my kids any smarter but it keeps me sane.
