The vintage, 1950's china Boyd bought me for Christmas. An entire set...creamer, salt and pepper shaker, gravy boat...platters and service for 10. And it was the same pattern as plates that I'd already been collecting. Winner. He did a good job on Christmas this year. I'd say this one goes down in the list of things I'd like to remember...
I'd also like to remember forever, the perfect temperature on today's hike. Cold and frosty in the shade when we were working hard...and warm and sunny during the easy pace. When my toes are cold tonight as I tuck myself into bed...I'll keep this memory in mind too.
I'm also trying to remember how immature and disrespectful I was at 18 years old. It helps me get not get angry and use inappropriate words at children who insist they know more and insert their disillusioned opinions on social media.
It's also important to keep perspective on things that really matter....
like nunchuck skills, tetherball, training to be a cage fighter with Rex Kwan Do and chatting online with babes all day.
Now THAT is worth remembering and sooooo mature.....

Nice! Love the dishes.
Best quote of the day! Life is much tougher when you are stupid.
Napoleon has helped me keep my perspective on many occasions. I'm impressed with your beautiful gift.
So true about mothering very young adults!
;)
PS. And I LOVE your dishes. Mine are vintage, too. I got them on e-bay, piece by piece. And I really like them.
(I wish I could see one of your plates from the top to see the pattern...)
=)
Love those dishes - great job Boyd! You were NOT a mouthy- no- it-all at 18. Keep up the good work mothering - it will pay off I promise! The hiking looks awesome as usual, especially with those perfect temps. Love you!!
Such pretty plates!
HA HA....loved this.
Napoleon is one of my heros'.
