That was a FULL day.
I too kind of like my solitary moments of doing things. The older I get, the less I NEED to have people with me (like when I was younger)
I'd have felt so bad to see the dead baby deer.
but the baby goat was soooo cute.

and I have to agree with Sue above, maybe hiking alone is not such a good idea. I'd hate for you to get hurt and have no one around.
Just me, being a worry wart.
